Description

INSIZE's 4796 machinist square (economic type) is a DIN 875 grade 2 square made of carbon steel, sized 500x330mm. INSIZE states its squareness as 65μm measured on the inside edge and 70μm on the outside edge, with a blade thickness of 50 mm and a base thickness of 50 mm. INSIZE marks this economic-type square as not treated against rust and not hardened, so it should be wiped dry and lightly oiled after use. It is used for checking and marking right angles on metalwork where a grade-2 square is accurate enough.
