INSIZE 4810-601 Center Gauge Metric 60 Degrees

The INSIZE 4810-601 is a stainless steel center gauge ground to the 60° angle of a metric screw thread, used to check and set the angle on screw-cutting lathe tools and to check the angle and pitch of a finished thread. INSIZE states an angle accuracy of ±30 minutes of arc. Beyond the notched 60° profile at each end, the blade carries a linear scale graduated in 0.5 mm and 1 mm steps for reading a metric thread's pitch directly against the workpiece. It is a standard toolroom and lathe-side gauge for setting up metric threading work.
