Description

The INSIZE ISHW-ED31 is an electric hardness tester built to ASTM B647, for checking the hardness of soft metals such as aluminium profiles, tubes, plates, parts and copper alloy. One-button measurement uses a micro servo motor for a controlled test force, reading 0-20HW at ±0.5HW accuracy (5-18HW) with 0.1HW resolution on a digital display, which also converts the reading to 934-1 Barcol, HRE, HRF, HV and HBS scales for reference only, with no direct conversion standard. It takes flat workpieces or pipe walls 1-5 mm thick, pipe diameter over 6.5 mm, runs on a rechargeable lithium battery, and includes a test block, spare indenter, calibration wrench and charger.
