Description

The INSIZE ISQ-40-153 ruby stylus mounts on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) probe to touch off features during inspection. It has a 4mm ruby ball on a 20mm carbide rod (10mm effective working length), threaded M4 to fit an INSIZE styli mount. INSIZE grades the ball's roundness at 0.25µm across this styli range. Carbide gives the rod more stiffness for its length than the stainless steel version in the same size.
