INSIZE ISQ-40-179 Ruby Stylus for CMM, Ø6mm. The INSIZE ISQ-40-179 ruby stylus mounts on a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) probe to touch off features during inspection. It has a 6mm ruby ball on a 50mm ceramic rod (36mm effective working length), threaded M4 to fit an INSIZE styli mount. INSIZE grades the ball's roundness at 0.25µm across this styli range. The ceramic rod is lighter than the metal versions, cutting probe deflection over a long reach.
