Description

This INSIZE surface roughness reference specimen, model ISR-LS607, is a glass calibration block with a square-wave surface texture rated at Ra 6.4µm, used to check and calibrate roughness testers by comparing a test reading on the specimen against its stated value. INSIZE gives a supply deviation of ±10% from the nominal Ra and a surface uniformity of 2% across the block. Matching the reference specimen's roughness to the value expected on the workpiece being measured improves the accuracy of the tester's reading.
