INSIZE QTM-A1 DIN Abrasion Tester. The INSIZE QTM-A1 is a DIN abrasion tester built to DIN 53516, ISO/DIS 4649 and GB 9867, for abrasion testing of elastic materials such as rubber, tyres, conveyor belts, shoe soles and leather. A Ø16 mm specimen, 6-15 mm thick, is pressed against a Ø150 mm abrasion roller turning at 40±1rpm and tilted 3°, travelling a 40 m abrasion stroke at 0.32 m/sec under a 5N or 10N test load, with the fixture stepping 4.2 mm per roller revolution. The set includes a sample cutter, grinding block, metal pad and weights. It runs on AC220V, measures 760×300×280 mm, and weighs 61 kg.
