Description

The Makita 9565PCV is a 125 mm angle grinder for 240V mains supply, with a 1,400 W motor that Makita rates at 12,000 rpm no-load. It has a large paddle switch with lock-off, and Makita states it uses SJS (Super Joint System), a mechanical clutch that lets the drive shaft slip if the wheel is forced to stop, to help protect the motor and gears. An electronic controller gives constant speed control under load, and a soft start suppresses start-up reaction. It has a toolless wheel guard and a push-button spindle lock, is double insulated, and is used for grinding, cutting and finishing metal and stone.
