Description

The Makita DG002GZ is a 40V max XGT cordless earth auger with the bit directly attached, its BL motor giving a variable 2-speed range of 0 to 1,500 and 0 to 400 RPM. Makita states drilling capacity of 150 mm in clay soil and 200 mm in sandy soil, Automatic torque Drive Technology to adjust speed and torque, and a built-in clutch that reduces gear damage. Twin LEDs with a preglow and afterglow light the work area, a reversing switch frees a jammed bit, and an electric brake and Extreme Protection Technology are built in. Weight with the BL4040 battery is 6.8 to 8.0 kg.
