Description

The Makita DGA406Z is an 18V cordless angle grinder with a 100 mm wheel and a slide switch. Makita rates its no-load speed at 8,500 rpm and its weight at about 2.2 kg, and lists a brushless (BL) motor, an electric brake, an anti-restart function, and automatic speed control that adjusts to the load. Makita also states it protects against kickback by cutting power if the wheel is suddenly forced to stop. It is sold as a bare tool, without battery or charger. It is used for grinding, cutting and finishing metal and stone.
