Description

The Makita DGA405Z is an 18V LXT cordless angle grinder with a 100 mm wheel and a paddle switch designed for easy on/off control by the hand gripping the motor housing, with a lock-off button against accidental starts. Makita's spec sheet rates its no-load speed at 8,500 rpm and its weight at about 2.4 kg, and states it has Kick-Back Detection, shutting the tool down if the wheel's rotation suddenly slows, plus a brushless motor 'as powerful as' a corded model. Sold as a bare tool, without battery or charger. It is used for grinding, polishing and cutting metal and stone.
