Description
The Makita DJS131 is an 18V LXT cordless metal shear with an offset shear head, cutting up to 1.3 mm (18 gauge) mild steel at 0-3,000 strokes per minute. Makita states its brushless motor drives a shear head that swivels 360 degrees for easier cutting angles, with a built-in LED that stays lit briefly after the trigger is released, and water-resistant construction. It has a lock-on button for continuous use and an ergonomic soft-grip handle. This is the Z (tool-only) code: battery and charger are sold separately. Weight is 2.0-2.3 kg with the battery fitted.
