Description

The Makita DTW700 is an 18V LXT cordless impact wrench built around a brushless BL motor, so there are no carbon brushes to wear out. Makita states 700 N·m of maximum fastening torque and 1,000 N·m of nut-busting torque, delivered through a 12.7 mm (1/2 inch) square drive for quick socket changes. Four speed settings give a no-load speed of up to 2,200 rpm and up to 2,700 impacts per minute, so output can be matched to the fastener. An electric brake, twin LED job lights and Makita's eXtreme Protection Technology against dust and water are fitted, and Makita rates the wrench for standard bolts from M10 to M24.
