Description

The Makita GA4040C is a 100 mm angle grinder with a 1,400 W motor. Makita states its no-load speed is variable from 2,800 to 11,000 rpm, held steady under load by constant speed control, and it runs on a slide switch. Makita lists SJSII (Super Joint System), a clutch that absorbs vibration and lets the drive shaft slip if the wheel jams, plus an anti-restart function, a soft start, an electronic current limiter against overload, and a push-button spindle lock. It is used for grinding, cutting and finishing metal and stone.
