Description

The Makita RP001GZ is a 40V max XGT cordless plunge router taking a 12 mm collet, built to match the performance of Makita's corded RP2301FC. Makita states its brushless motor gives variable speed control from 8,000-25,000 RPM, a 60 mm plunge stroke, an electric brake, soft start and twin LEDs, plus the Auto-start Wireless System for connecting to a compatible vacuum and Extreme Protection Technology for water resistance. It has an anti-restart function, a lock-on switch, an aluminium base and a shaft lock. This is the Z (tool-only) code: battery and charger are sold separately. Weight is 4.0-5.2 kg with the battery fitted.
