The Makita RP1111C is a 1,100 W corded plunge router taking 6 or 8 mm collets, aimed at lighter routing work such as edge trimming and small grooves. Makita states it runs 8,000-27,500 RPM with a 0-57 mm plunge depth, and includes an anti-restart function, variable speed control that holds constant speed under load, a soft-start feature, and a shaft lock so bit changes need only one wrench. Dust-collection ports sit on both the upper and lower motor housing, and it is double insulated. Weight is 3.3 kg.
