Description
The Makita SG1251J is a 1,400 W wall chaser for cutting cable and pipe channels into walls, running twin 125 mm diamond wheels at 10,000 RPM. It cuts grooves 0-30 mm deep and 6-30 mm wide, adjustable across 9 stages, and Makita's SJS (Super Joint System) cushions start-up shock and guards against a jammed wheel. Soft start eases the motor in, and constant speed control holds the RPM steady under load. The tool is double insulated, connects to a dust extractor to keep channels clean, and its aluminium blade case allows easy wheel replacement. Makita supplies it with two diamond wheels, a hex wrench and a lock-nut wrench.
