A Marathon motor with patented dust protection drives it, the back and side handles mount in three positions, and the guard is tool-free adjustable and twist-proof. The VibraTech (MVT) system damps vibration through the housing and handle, a safety switch stops it starting by accident, and auto-stop carbon brushes protect the motor when they wear out.
