Description

The INSIZE 2344-1 measures the peak-to-valley height of a blast-cleaned surface before painting or coating, over a 0-1mm range with a 1mm dial indicator stroke, 0.001mm graduation and an accuracy of ±0.005mm. INSIZE's reasoning for the gauge is practical: a profile that's too shallow can leave a coating with poor adhesion, while one that's too deep risks leaving the peaks uncoated and open to rust. It meets ASTM D4417-B, has a stainless steel base, and comes with a zero-set block for setting it to zero before each measurement.
