Description

This INSIZE preform thickness tester measures wall thickness on plastic preforms over a 0-10mm/0-0.4" range, to a resolution of 0.01mm/0.0005" and an accuracy of ±0.02mm, with a repeatability of 0.01mm. INSIZE fits it with a two-arm frame that lets a preform slide between an upper and lower contact point, with buttons for on/off, inch/mm switching, zeroing, data presetting and changing the measuring direction. It keeps its preset data in memory after a restart, runs on a CR2032 battery with automatic power-off, and outputs its readings for data logging. A wireless transmitter is available as an optional accessory for remote data collection.
