Description

The INSIZE 4865-14 is a keyway symmetry gauge, used to check that a keyway cut into a shaft is centred squarely on the shaft's axis rather than sitting off to one side. It covers shaft diameters from 14mm to 110mm and keyway widths from 5mm to 28mm, with 0.02mm accuracy and 0.01mm graduation. A gauge like this is set against the shaft on either side of the keyway, and any difference in the two readings shows how far the keyway is out of symmetry, which matters wherever a key has to seat evenly under load.
