INSIZE 6310-250 Micrometer Setting Standard, 250mm

The INSIZE 6310-250 micrometer setting standard is a 250mm type A gauge rod with Ø8mm ends, used to verify and reset the zero point of an outside micrometer. INSIZE rates its accuracy at ±6µm at this length. Like other type A standards in the range, it is a plain rod without a separate grip section, held directly by the ends during setting. It is a standard tool-room accessory for calibrating mechanical and digital micrometers of matching capacity.
