Description

The INSIZE 6310-275 is a 275mm micrometer setting standard, a type A gauge rod with Ø8mm ends, used to check and set the zero reading of an outside micrometer before measurement. INSIZE states an accuracy of ±6.5µm for this length. Unlike the longer type B rods, a type A standard is a plain rod that is picked up directly by its ends, since its shorter length does not need a separate centre grip. It is a standard calibration accessory for mechanical and digital outside micrometers.
