Description
The INSIZE ISQ-20-101 is a ruby-ball stylus for coordinate measuring machines (CMM). It has an M2 thread that fits an INSIZE CMM probe head, extension rod or multi-way base of the same thread size, a ball diameter of 1 mm on a stem of 0.8 mm, and a carbide rod. Overall length is 27 mm, with an effective working length of 20.5 mm measured from the ball centre to the point on the stem matching the ball's own diameter. The ruby ball is the point that contacts the workpiece as the CMM records each measurement.
