Description

The INSIZE MPI-P220 is a portable magnetic particle flaw detector for surface and near-surface cracks in ferrous parts, built to international standards including ASTM E1444, ASTM E709 and ISO 9934. INSIZE states a magnetic field strength above 2KA/m, a pole spacing of 0-230mm and a 22x22mm pole size, giving sensitivity that clearly shows a 15/50 groove on the A1 sensitivity test piece, read under white light of at least 2320 lux for visible inspection. Lifting power reaches at least 4.5kg (44N) on AC and 18.1kg (177N) on DC, at a 50% maximum, up to 90 seconds excitation duty cycle. It runs on AC220V, 50/60Hz, weighs 2.3kg.
