Description

KARAM's SA38A(E)N is the end (extremity) post of a horizontal lifeline on a trapezoidal metal roof, for up to 4 users. Its shock-absorber assembly is stainless steel on an aluminium-alloy base plate, electropolished or ED-coated, weighing 3.74 kg with a minimum breaking strength of 15 kN. It fits trapezoidal roof pitches of 200, 250, 275, 300, 304, 334, 347 or 367 mm. As with the rest of the range, it deploys in a fall to absorb the energy while keeping the roof panel intact, and meets EN 795:2012 Type A and TS 16415:2013 Type A.
