Makita DGA408Z 100mm 18V Cordless Angle Grinder. The Makita DGA408Z is an 18V LXT cordless angle grinder with a 100mm wheel and a large paddle switch. Makita rates its no-load speed at 3,000-8,500 rpm and lists a brushless (BL) motor, an electric brake, an anti-restart function, and ADT (Automatic torque Drive Technology), which adjusts speed and torque under load. Makita also states it uses AFT (Active Feedback sensing Technology), which cuts power if the wheel is suddenly forced to stop, and XPT sealing against dust and water. It is sold as a bare tool, without battery or charger. It is used for grinding, cutting and finishing metal and stone.
