Description

The Makita DGD800Z is an 18V LXT cordless die grinder taking a 3, 6 or 8 mm collet, with a no-load speed of 26,000 RPM. Makita states a compact barrel grip design, a stepped neck for reaching into tight spaces, and a round-shaped collet nut to help avoid damaging the workpiece. A slide switch with lock-on runs the tool, vent slots keep exhaust air off the operator, and an LED flashes red as a low-battery warning while a protection circuit guards against over-torque. The solid aluminium housing is built for durability, and brushes are externally accessible for servicing. Net weight is 1.7 to 2.2 kg.
