Description

The Makita GD001GZ is a 40V max XGT cordless die grinder with an 8 mm maximum collet, its brushless motor running from 7,000 to 29,000 RPM. Makita states a slide switch with lock-on for convenience, a shaft lock that lets you change accessories with the supplied wrench, and three LEDs positioned around the body to improve visibility in tight spaces. Active Feedback sensing Technology cuts power to the motor if the rotation speed drops suddenly from jamming, reducing kickback, and a variable speed dial offers a high range for deburring and grinding or a low range for polishing and paint or rust removal. Net weight, tool only, is 1.6 kg.
