Description

The Makita GD002GZ is a 40V max XGT cordless die grinder with an 8 mm maximum collet and a brushless motor giving a no-load speed of 7,000 to 29,000 RPM. Makita states a paddle switch, a shaft lock for accessory changes with the supplied wrench, and a slimmed grip with a 146 mm circumference. Three LEDs around the nose light up tight working spaces, and Active Feedback sensing Technology cuts power if the accessory jams, reducing kickback. A variable speed dial sets a high range for deburring and grinding or a low range for polishing and paint or rust removal. Net weight, tool only, is 1.6 kg.
