Description

The Makita DLW140Z is an 18Vx2 (36V) LXT BL brushless cordless portable cut-off saw with a 355 mm (14") wheel, which Makita describes as the world's first cordless portable cut-off saw. It cuts up to 130 metal studs on a pair of BL1850B batteries, runs at 3,800 RPM no-load with a max output of 1,300 W, and covers round stock up to 127 mm plus a range of rectangular, square and triangular sections at 90° and 45°. Toolless flange removal and toolless fence and vise adjustment speed up wheel changes and setup, and a load status indicator shows motor load while cutting.
