Description

The Makita LC1230 is a 305 mm (12") metal cutting saw for pipe, angle iron, conduit and similar sections. Makita states its 1,750 W motor runs at 1,300 RPM, with a carbide-tipped blade that it says lasts 50 times longer than an abrasive wheel and cuts up to 4 times faster in light pipe, angle iron, tubing, conduit and channel. Maximum cutting depth is 115 mm with the carbide blade, with capacity of 75 x 150 mm rectangular stock at 90° and 85 x 85 mm at 45°. A quick-release vise and a support fence adjustable from 0-45° for miter cuts complete the saw.
