Description
The Makita DSC251ZK is an 18V LXT brushless steel rod cutter that cuts rebar from 10 mm up to 25 mm in diameter using a 110 mm blade, at a no-load speed of 2,200 rpm. Makita's Automatic Torque Drive Technology adjusts cutting force to the load, and the flangeless blade design allows flush cuts close to a wall or slab edge. A three-position side grip and a dust bag for chip collection round out the tool, which cuts without sparks. Weighing 4.0 kg, the ZK code is the bare tool, supplied with a carrying case, hex wrench and spare blade, without battery or charger.
