Description

Makita's DUN500W is an 18V LXT cordless pole hedge trimmer with a 500 mm curved, triple-edged blade for reaching tall hedges from the ground. The brushless motor gives three speeds up to 4,400 strokes a minute and cuts branches up to 23.5 mm thick, and Makita states it has constant speed control, a head that tilts 45° up or 70° down across six settings, and a pole that folds 180° for storage. It also has a reverse rotation system to clear jams and XPT water-resistance. It weighs 3.9–4.3 kg with the battery fitted, and this code is supplied as a kit with a battery and fast charger.
