Description

The Makita DUN500W is an 18V LXT cordless pole hedge trimmer with a 500 mm curved, triple-edged blade for reaching tall hedges from the ground. Makita states the brushless motor gives three speeds up to 4,400 strokes a minute and cuts branches up to 23.5 mm thick, with constant speed control to hold cutting speed under load. The head tilts 45° up or 70° down across six settings and the pole folds 180° for storage, with a reverse rotation system to clear jams and XPT water-resistance. It weighs 3.9–4.3 kg and is sold here as the bare tool, without battery or charger.
