Makita UH020GZ 40V Hedge Trimmer 500mm

The Makita UH020G is a 40V max XGT cordless hedge trimmer with a 500 mm blade for everyday hedge and shrub work. Makita states the brushless motor drives the blade at 4,200 strokes a minute and cuts branches up to 20 mm thick, with constant speed control to stop the motor slowing under load, an aluminium guide bar to reduce arm fatigue, and a reverse function that clears a jammed blade. It is rated IPX4 water-resistant, has an electric brake with lock-off, and weighs 3.0–4.2 kg with the battery fitted. It is sold here as the bare tool, without battery or charger.
