Makita UH014GZ 40V Cordless Hedge Trimmer 750mm

The Makita UH014G is a 40V max XGT cordless hedge trimmer with a long 750 mm blade for cutting long runs of hedge in fewer passes. Makita states the brushless motor gives three speeds up to 5,000 strokes a minute and cuts branches up to 18 mm thick, with a reverse rotation system to free a jammed blade, a double-action switch for safer operation, and WetGuard water-resistance for outdoor use. Constant speed control keeps the cutting speed steady under load, and Makita notes it runs quieter than an engine hedge trimmer. It weighs 4.0–4.7 kg and is sold here as the bare tool, without battery or charger.
