Description

The Makita UH023G is a compact 40V max XGT cordless hedge trimmer with a short 200 mm blade, sized for detail work and shaping rather than long runs of hedge. Makita states the brushless motor turns the three-facet, obliquely ground blades at 3,600 strokes a minute and cuts branches up to 8 mm thick, with an electric brake, anti-restart function and XPT water-resistance for outdoor use. Metal gears and bearings, an aluminium cooling fan, and a vertical chip sweeper with a lubrication port are built in for durability. It weighs 1.8 kg and is sold here as the bare tool, without battery or charger.
