Makita GA7082 180mm 2700W Angle Grinder

The Makita GA7082 is a 180 mm angle grinder with a 2,700 W motor that Makita rates at 8,500 rpm no-load and 6.0-6.5 kg. It has a large trigger switch with a lever for lock-off and lock-on. Makita states cooling was improved by enlarging the fan from 80 mm to 86 mm across, and lists a push-button spindle lock, a wheel cover to protect the operator from scattered debris, and a switch cover and sponge that keep metal particles out of the switch terminals. It is used for grinding and cutting metal and stone.
