Metabo LF 850 S Paint Remover 850 W

The Metabo LF 850 S is a paint remover for stripping paint and varnish from wooden surfaces such as stairs, doors and windows, and Metabo says it is also suitable for working untreated wood. Its carbide blades are reversible on all four sides and cut in an 80 mm cycle, with the routing depth adjustable from 0 to 0.3 mm; lateral blades let it cut notches as well as flat surfaces. The 850 W motor (470 W output) runs at 11,500 rpm unloaded, dropping to 7,500 rpm under load. Metabo states the tool saves up to 70% of the time taken by conventional stripping methods. It weighs 2.5 kg with a 4 m cable.
