Description

The Metabo RBE 15-180 Set is, in Metabo's words, "a powerful tube belt sander for processing even larger stainless steel pipes," giving "smooth surfaces and quick work progress" on tube up to 180 mm across, wrapped at a 270-degree contact angle. Its 1,550 W Marathon motor (940 W output) drives a 40 x 760 mm belt at 8.4-28 m/s, held steady under load and changed without tools. The set includes a side handle, ten 40 x 760 mm zirconia belts, eight finer pyramid-grit belts from P280 to P1200, three fleece finishing bands and a metaBOX 185 XL case. It weighs 3.4 kg, runs on a 4 m cable and includes soft start and restart protection.
