Description

The Metabo WE 24-180 MVT is a 2,400 W input (1,600 W output) angle grinder for a 180 mm disc on an M14 spindle, spinning at 8,450 rpm and weighing 5.7 kg. Its Marathon motor carries patented dust protection for long service life, and an electronic safety shutdown cuts the motor if the disc suddenly stops, reducing kickback. The VibraTech (MVT) damping system and side handle reduce vibration, and electronic overload protection plus restart protection guard the motor and prevent an accidental restart after a power cut.
