Description

INSIZE's 5411-TC30 is a dual-mode coating thickness gauge that auto-detects ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates, over a 0 to 3000µm range: on magnetic metal it reads non-magnetic and non-metallic coatings such as zinc, chrome or paint by magnetic induction, and on non-magnetic metal such as aluminium or copper it reads non-conductive coatings such as plastic, powder or anodising by eddy current. Accuracy is ±(2% of reading + 1µm) up to 1500µm and ±(3% of reading + 1.5µm) above it. It has single, continuous and average measuring modes, five calibration methods, 1600-reading storage, and a colour screen that auto-rotates, running on two AA batteries or USB.
