Description

The INSIZE 5411-TF50 is a coating thickness gauge for ferrous substrates only, measuring non-magnetic or non-metallic coatings such as zinc, chrome, tin, plastic, powder or paint on iron, steel or magnetic stainless steel over a 0 to 5000µm range, using magnetic induction. INSIZE states an accuracy of ±(2% of reading + 1µm) up to 1500µm, widening to ±(3% of reading + 1.5µm) above that. It offers single, continuous and average measuring modes plus a zinc-coating weight mode, five calibration methods from zero-point to five-point, and stores up to 1600 readings, running on two AA batteries or USB power with a colour screen that rotates to match the gauge's angle.
