Description

The Makita DKP181Z is an 82 mm cordless planer running on an 18V LXT battery, for smoothing and chamfering timber on site. Its brushless motor spins at 12,000 RPM, with planing depth adjustable up to 3 mm. As a bare tool, without battery, it weighs 3.3-3.6 kg. Makita's AWS wireless triggering lets it link to a compatible dust extractor, starting and stopping automatically with the planer. It suits joinery, door fitting and general carpentry work away from a power point.
