Description

The Makita KP001G is an 82 mm cordless planer on Makita's 40V max XGT battery platform, for smoothing and chamfering timber without a mains lead. Its brushless motor spins at 15,000 RPM, and Makita fits its AWS system for linking to a compatible dust extractor. As a bare tool, without battery, it weighs 3.7 kg. It suits site joinery, door fitting and general carpentry where working away from a power point is useful.
