Makita PC5010C 125 mm Variable Speed Concrete Planer

The Makita PC5010C is a 125 mm concrete planer for smoothing concrete surfaces, removing coatings and preparing walls or floors for finishing. Makita rates the motor at 1,400 W with a variable speed dial adjustable from 4,000 to 9,000 RPM to suit the material. It carries Makita's SJS II (Super Joint System) slip clutch to absorb sudden kickback, an electronic speed controller that holds constant RPM under load, and a soft-start function to reduce start-up reaction. A removable front cover allows planing flush into walls and corners. Weight ranges from 2.5-3.6 kg depending on configuration.
