Description

The Makita DTD155Z is an 18V LXT brushless cordless impact driver with three modes: A-mode, Hard and Soft. A-mode drives slowly until tightening begins, helping prevent screw cam-out and cross-threading. It delivers 140 N·m of torque, with speeds up to 3,000 RPM in Hard mode and 1,300 RPM in Soft mode. Makita lists capacities of M4-M8 machine screws, M5-M14 standard bolts and coarse-thread screws from 22 to 90 mm. A dual LED light, XPT dust and water resistance, a 6.35 mm (1/4") hex chuck and an electric brake are built in. Supplied as a bare tool with a hook; battery and charger are sold separately.
