Description

The Makita DTD158Z is an 18V LXT brushless cordless impact driver that Makita describes as an easy-to-handle basic model. It is only 125 mm long and delivers 170 N·m of torque at up to 3,400 RPM and 3,600 impacts per minute. The battery sits further back so the centre of gravity is closer to the grip, reducing strain on the wrist. One-touch bit installation keeps bits from coming loose, a single LED light with preglow and afterglow lights the work, and it is water-resistance compatible with XPT. It drives M4-M8 machine screws and M5-M14 high-strength bolts. Supplied as a bare tool with a hook.
