Description

Metabo's BAE 75 is a belt sander for 75 x 533 mm sanding belts, powered by a 1,010 W motor with an idle belt speed of 240-450 m/min, adjustable by thumbwheel. Metabo credits its "powerful motor and precise belt path" for consistent sanding results. The belt change is tool-free, and a machine stand converts the sander for stationary bench use, with a length guide to keep the workpiece square. VTC full-wave electronics hold the set speed under load, and dust is collected in an antistatic bag or drawn off through a vacuum cleaner connection. It weighs 4.9 kg and runs on a 4 m cable.
